Experiences, enzymes and oatmeal

One thing we do know: Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness. How do you know this is the experience you need? Because this is the experience you are having at this moment.” ~ Eckhart Tolle. A New Earth. p 14

New raw site: http://goneraw.com/ I plan on having the vegetable nori rolls from this site for lunch. : )

Enzyme supplements

Enzymes = Life

A persons life span is directly related to the exhaustion of their enzyme potential.
Eating more enzymes decreases that rate of exhaustion, leading to a longer, healthier and more vital life.

Anytime you eat cooked or processed foods take a good enzyme supplement.
Make sure it has a broad range of enzymes, including:
amylase – to digest starches and carbohydrates
protease and papain - to aid in the digestion of protein
lipase and bromelain – to digest fats
lactase - for digesting dairy products
cellulase - to break down cellulose fiber

Experiment
to see the efficiency of an enzyme supplement in a matter of minutes:

1- Make 2 bowls of instant oatmeal.
2- Mix a couple of digestive enzyme capsules into one of the bowls of oatmeal.
3- Wait for 45 minutes.
4- Check. The bowl without the digestive enzymes should be thick, lumpy stick-to your ribs consistency, the other, if the enzyme supplement is good, should look quite different, it should be digested and look like watery gruel.
5- Do not eat the oatmeal! Toss and get yourself some healthy raw foods to eat. Raw foods are loaded with enzymes.

My recipe section is not up yet.. but it should be soon. I have an apple-cinnamon oatmeal recipe coming there. It is:

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

1 c steel-cut oat groats
4 apples
Handful of almonds and walnuts, chopped
Raisins, goji berries
1 t cinnamon
Opt. 1-2 T maple syrup

Place oats in bowl. If steel-cut oats are hard to find, pulse chop whole oat groats until coarse in coffee grinder or processor.
Peel and core apples and grind through a juicer with the blank screen or in food processor.
Mix apples and rest of ingredients with the oats. Mixture should be fairly wet, if not add a bit of water.
Cover and let mixture sit together a few hours before eating or make it the night before so it will be ready for breakfast.
Refrigerate, if you will be letting it sit over 12 hours before eating.
