Vegetarian benefits, trans fat ban, Superhealth

I watched a DVD last night called Eating. It’s about how we are killing ourselves with our diet and how to reverse it.. in a nutshell, get off meat and get into plants. It gave serious reasons why not to eat animals. I mean most of us know why not to eat animals (we love animals! : ) ..but this really explained it in detail.. not just factory farming but also how bad it is for our resources, ecology and how it is– along with dairy and other animal products - the root of disease and illness in our society.

He talks about how heart disease and strokes are the nations top killers but doesn’t have listed here to stop eating meat. Or maybe he just figures that’s too obvious.

- Both this and cancer, 2nd leading cause of death, are directly linked to eating meat.. switch from a meat based diet to a plant based diet and your arteries and blood all clear up again.

- Cholesterol has been called ‘animals revenge’ because they leave a little bit of themselves with you after you eat them and they kill you from the grave. (Sorry, I know that’s a little gory – from the movie last night – but it’s true!)
